Workshop on Tiatr Script:

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Jawaharlal Nehru Higher Secondary School, Fatorda in collaboration of Tiatr Academy Goa (TAG) will organize a one day workshop on Tiatr script on Sunday, 11th October, 2009 from 9.00 a.m. onwards at the Government High School, Ambaulim, Quepem Goa. The workshop will be inaugurated by Tomazinho Cardozo, president of TAG in the presence of Smt. Archana Naik, Principal of Jawarharlal Nehru Higher Secondary School and Mr. Teotonio D’Costa, Chairman of PTA.

The workshop will highlight the characteristics of tiatr such as Acts (Podd’dde), Kantaram and Comedy. The participants will be given an opportunity to do practical work on writing and acting. They will have to present a 10 minute presentation which will be discussed and improvised. The participants will guided by the resource persons namely Avinash Chari, Agnelo Fernandes and Teotonio D’Costa. 50 students will participate in the workshop.
