KGTS 5th musical show - Tiatristponn Devachem Dennem

Welcome! Lovers of Konkani! And, in particular, all you lovers of Konkani tiatrs for this glittering musical event, significantly and aptly titled, "Tiatristponn Devachem Dennem" proudly re-living the life of a Tiatrist. It is also our humble attempt to pay a tribute to the legendary Konkani stage artiste, the late Padmashree M. Boyer.

With the blessings of our Almighty God, Kuwait Goa Tiatristanchi Sonstha has marched in its seventh year of existence continuing its relentless efforts to foster and promote Konknni Tiatr and the cause of Konknni Tiatrist in Kuwait and Goa .

Year after year, Tiatrists from Kuwait unite under KGTS banner to contribute in various ways to mitigate the plight of Goan senior and retired Tiatrists who are now the victims of vagaries of destitution. KGTS salutes their tremendous contribution to the Konkani stage and cherishes the rich legacy left by them for the current artistes and future generations to follow.

KGTS stands united in its determination and commitment for the cause of Konkani Tiatr and Tiatrists, and its fervour to bring cheers on the faces of our senior tiatrists with our modest contributions. KGTS Musical Show 2009 attempts to travel down the memory lane of those glorious years when the stalwarts of Konkani stage regaled the Goan community not only in India but also the Goan Diaspora beyond the shores of India.

We seize this opportunity to thank our patrons, well-wishers and Konkani lovers without whom such a mega event could not be planned and presented. We are indebted to all our KGTS members and their families who rendered their relentless support and efforts braving against the tide to put up a spectacular presentation this evening.

Our humble and sincere thanks to you, our cherished audiences. Undoubtedly, it is your unconditional support, cooperation and patronage that enables KGTS to hoist high the flag of our 'mai bhas' Konkani and Konkani tiatrs. The story of our success is powered by your love for 'mai bhas' Konkani.

Last but not the least, we thank all people who offered prayers and sent best wishes for the speedy recovery of our founder member, Jose Rod. With the Grace of Almighty God, we look forward to see Jose Rod soon on the stage.
