Fidelis Fernandes for being elected the Honorary President of the Kuwait Indian Football Federation (KIFF) for the third consecutive term at the Annual General Body Meeting held on Friday,
29th July 2011 in Kuwait City.
Let's carry on the good work to continue to promote football and keep the football enthusiasts and players foccused, for the love of the game !
Fidelis Fernandes hails from Colva, Goa and has been associated with KIFF for several years in various positions and has been elected in the past to executive committees of New Goan Overseas Association (1987), Goan Welfare Society (GWS) (1989), Colva United Centre-Kuwait (2005), Kuwait Goan Association (KGA), among others. With a keen interest in tiatr, Konkani and cultural activities even prior to coming to Kuwait, he is also the founder President of the Konkani Heritage Kuwait (KHK) which has in the past presented Konkani tiatrs, one-act plays competition, singing competition, and Konkani "songit sanz "(musical) shows in Kuwait under his able direction.With sports salutations and wishes for good health to you and the KIFF managing committee.
